In der Nacht vor dem Heiligen Abend steigt dann Knecht Ruprecht über die Sternentreppe herab und sammelt die vielen Briefe ein. Weil aber die Menschen ihm gerne bei seiner Arbeit behilflich sein möchten, eröffnen sie jedes Jahr das Postamt des Christkindl damit dort die Wünsche gesammelt werden können. Doch eines Tages finden die fleißigen Helfer einen verlorengegangenen Brief. Ob sie den Wunsch doch noch rechtzeitig zum Heiligen Abend erfüllen können? Bekannte Sprecher wie Eduard Marks, Peter Schratt und Helmut Lang erzählen vom Wunder der Weihnacht.
