Publisher's Summary

She's the girl who got away, but now she's back....

Four years was all it took.

I told myself I didn't need friends. I didn't need family. I sure as f**k didn't need him.

And you know what?

I was right.

He had been inside of me, coursing through my veins.

So I cut and bled Dash Chambers until I was free.

But the day I returned to Six Forks and was thrown at his feet, I realized I would never forget how it felt to have every inch of him inside me...and he's waiting.

Angel thought if she ran far enough, she'd be free.

What's mine will always be mine.

This time, I do things my way.

Lots of surprises

This book was sooo frustrating!! Much like all the other books in this series there is so much push and pull. When one is ready to commit the other isn’t. Also I can’t understand how calm Dash was at the end when he goes after her. It just seemed so rushed. This book really keeps you guessing the whole way through! There’s so many surprising turns. Still lots more answers to find in the next book though.

No redeeming characters?

Granted, I haven't read any of the previous books in the series so perhaps I shouldn't expect to understand this one jumping in, but the alpha men definitely crossed the line into creepy sexual aggression and the motivations of the characters made no sense, except everyone was apparently angry, horny, tortured souls. Gave up halfway through. Narration was only redeeming feature

5 "I WANT MORE OF THIS SERIES" STARS

This review is for all 5 books in this awesome series. B. B. Reid did a fantastic job sucking me into this series and not letting go until I finished all 5 books back to back. I hate for this series to come to an end. There was some hot sex scenes. The story just keep getting interesting as it goes on. If you like a dark read with crazy, possessive alpha males then this series is for you.

Willow and Dash were my fav couple

From the beginning Willow and Dash were my fav couple. My eyes got watery towards the end of the book.

I loved this story

Dash and Willow have such distinct personalities. I am really glad they were not changed or given traits just to be able to write the same sex scenes. I like when characters' personalities are maintained. I noticed that was not so much the case in the last book featuring Keenan and Sheldon. The narrators are amazing throughout this entire series.

Kinda getting predictable

Having a young child you tend to know when they are doing something they shouldn't be, having noted that, the author writes the child to be somewhat smart, so why wouldn't the people who are watching her know how to keep an eye out for her mischievous ways. kids are kids, but many at the age of 3 should know to draw on walls, or the parents should teach them to only doodle on paper. Rant over. This series has come to have a very "filled in" feeling.

just ok

Well I tried to like it! The author wrote a wacky format of the story. Jumped around way to much. I had a hard time following it because if that. It could have been a great story if written properly. Narrators did a good job considering the poor format. Each book in the series did not follow right because of the wacky job.

Issues...

2/5 rating. Although I likes parts of the book, the level of violence felt odd and turned me off.

Dark emotional

This series keeps getting better with each book. Willow and Dash have an up and lots of downs relationship. Major issues come to light throughout this book.

Dash and Willow for the Win!

As always, narrator's were great. This was so much better than the previous book. Dash is the sweetest and I loved how he is with Willow. I did have some issues with the amount of time jumps, it got to be a little much. But I did love seeing what happened at certain points with their relationship. Definitely want to add this to my physical book collection.

Wow! Next please....

I have gone through every book in this series like a lost person in the desert would go through bottles of water! The start is kinda dark, the sex is raw and well explained, with lots of "scary" hurdles and antics along the way and ending with a beautiful HEA! I REALLY DESPERATELY WANT MORE!!! I love that this book goes back to following the original characters because they veered off for a while to their friends and family. If you don't mind raw honesty, darker than dark history and intensity (including lots of intense sex), plus you enjoy a different type of romance to the usual white Knight and flowers, then this will knock your socks off! I love dark romances and even darker characters with an erotic touch so when I started to listen to this series I was hooked! I've recently started downloading more from this author and I have to say that I have put them in my list of favourites! So I would be advising any "none-snowflakes" to have a listen. If the first book is too much, then please don't give up, because once love is in the air it gets sweeter..... Still intense but definitely much more loving between the characters. I just hope and pray that this isn't the end of the story and I have more to sink my teeth into.... Or would that be my ears??? Hmmmm.... Anyway, I have fallen in love and maybe have a new obsession. Enjoy xx
