About this listen

A Broken Bloodlines Origin story and a prequel to the Broken Bloodlines trilogy.

Axl's story.

Welcome to Georgian England, circa 1800.

Alastair Thorne is a cad and a rake. Even his mother told him so. Pity for her that he cannot bring himself to care, for he relishes his life of debauchery and licentiousness, and is content thinking of no-one but himself.

Except Alastair may have just messed with the wrong fair maiden, and his life is about to be cut violently short. That is until he comes face to face with the enigmatic stranger who's been watching him from afar.

Alexandros Drakos sees something in the young scoundrel that intrigues him. And so he makes him an offer he is sure he cannot refuse.

Certain death or immortality?

I like hearing how Axl became a vampire it was spicy and short but very entertaining.

The way this series had me in a chokehold was insane and I was so excited for this novella. its pretty much what I expected but I really feel like the story is left unfinished. we need more of this origin story!

Perfectly narrated - but leaves me wanting more

I liked the story, narrators were good. I liked the backstory, kind of wish there was one for all of the boys being sired. I read the first two books however and did have it in my head that the Professor had the deeper voice of these two which took me a second to get over but still all good.

Short and sweet
