Publisher's Summary

An inspiring memoir, reminding us that whether life's lessons arrive through illness, trauma or any other unexpected upheaval, life really does love us.

As a free-spirited, independent woman, Bronnie Ware was used to donning a variety of hats: singer, songwriter, author, speaker, traveller and adventurer. And as her soul would have it in her mid-40s, she felt the urge to add one more: mother.

Ware, author of The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, had learned many lessons as a palliative-care giver, and she began to absorb even more from the opposite end of the spectrum as a giver of life. Only a few moments into motherhood, however, Ware's body had a different idea, when chronic crippling pain from an autoimmune disease took hold.

In this inspiring memoir, Ware reminds us that whether life's lessons arrive through illness, trauma or any other unexpected upheaval, life really does love us. By finding the courage to confront her upper limits, surrender to life's blessings and have gratitude every step of the way, Ware discovered how to bloom in a field of formidable challenges.

Understanding life’s progression

An amazing example of how the inner journey guides the outer journey. Much understanding has been illuminated. Connection between the journey, subconscious and conscious workings of the mind and soul. We humans get lost in the thinking and doing. And again I am shown the path to where I’m headed is through surrender to what is! Deepest gratitude for your drive and ability to share so much of your journey ❤️

Bronnie Ware is a breath of fresh air

I just completed her first book, Five Regrets of the Dying and immediately wanted to hear more. It didn’t let me down. Bronnie’s writing is beautiful and her story telling engaging. Bloom is an intimate story of becoming that was personally encouraging to me. Perfect timing, and a reminder is we are not alone on this journey and every step of our life, no matter how challenging, is perfect.

Beautifully heartfelt and a reminder to our souls to be authentic.

As a fellow sufferer of RA I listened to this book with eager interest. Beautifully narrated I could empathise whole heartedly with Bronnies story. Knowing someone else had also had the same difficulties was very comforting. The link between wellness and the mind have always been known to me, this book really helped drive that home and remind me the blessing that can come from a seemingly dark and scary place. It’s given me real hope that one day I can peel back all my layers and surrender to what is. Thank you Bronnie.
