Great Listen

This is my second book by Tess Gerritsen and I have to say I am a new fan and I am just loving her writing style. I don't normally like abridged versions but this was just the right fit to my busy schedule and had the right blend of mystery and little romance.

An original story

Though an abridged book, it didn't seem to be missing too much detail to have three-dimensional characters and be an engaging story that made sense. The final explanation for the upsurge in violent behaviour in a small town in the USA is certainly original and unexpected, but believable. I enjoyed the three hours or so it took for the story to unfold and thought the reader did a good job in her narration.
