I follow other series of Ed James but have never noticed a problem with storyline or character development...until now. Clunky writing is the only way to describe it, boring basic story...the killer sitting there going through what happened as if he's reading a book and yes I know confessions can be offhand and cold but this was so basic and no depth...can't really describe what I mean 😅 I see there was only 3 reviews on Audible for the whole 5 books, 2 of which weren't good 😳 so you can add mine. Angus King is the only saving grace as they say...brilliant as always 👏👏👏 the ending left it open for further developments but I'd rather watch paint dry than.listen to another one...was glad when it ended! 😆😵‍💫
