Information is power, or at least it's the currency Dram deals in in Eternal Night. When the information broker is given a new puzzle relating to the latest upcoming game update, he goes all in.

What Dram doesn't know is how far and to what extent the developers have seeded the game. Or what it'll cost him to learn the truth.

Good thing it's all a game.

Blood Knowledge is the third work in Eternal Night, A Vampire LitRPG Short Story series, written by Tao Wong, author of the best-selling System Apocalypse and A Thousand Li series of books.

This third installment follows Dram, the Nosferatu information broker whom Jonathan consulted in the second story. there's not really any real world development and the game world development is very limited as well. the story suffers from the same failing as many short stories: no real hook, and sadly, unlike the first two stories, here the character development, action, and world development are not sufficient to overcome that failing.

Writing quality is good, with only a few errors here and there. Audiobook narration is fine, with the narrator only portraying different characters by the use of very mild voice changes. there are a couple of sections where volume and sound quality changes noticably, which I assume was different takes / sessions.

Given that this audiobook was released I think four years ago and there's no sign of any other stories in the series, I'm assuming this is the end of Eternal Night. That's a shame, since for the most part I found it interesting.

Not as interesting as previous stories
