Story
You know what's not fun? Going on a Fiji vacation with four other couples. Especially when recently single. What's even worse is when a past hook-up arrives unannounced. Not only do we have a history, but he's 10 years younger and a famous rock star. Most importantly, he's my friend's little brother. Being trapped on an island with Jet Jackson is going to be sweet torture because all I want is another chance. I just don't think he's going to give it to me.

Story
The worst part of being in love with my straight best friend is the fact he’s too oblivious to see it. Years of pining have left me exhausted, and I need a break from Dex. I need space to get over my feelings. But when his relationship falls apart and he turns to me for comfort, I cave immediately. If there’s one thing I hate more than being hurt, it’s seeing Dex struggle. I can’t leave him in a time of need, even if my friends say it’s my biggest downfall. They say Dexter Mitchale is my weakness, but if that’s true, I don’t want to be strong.

Story
I’ve had a crush on my brother’s best friend since the moment I laid eyes on him four years ago. Warner Ramsey is 225 pounds of pure hotness, a media darling, and one of the best NFL quarterbacks in the league. Hell, he’s the reason I figured out I’m solidly bi. It was easy to keep my crush under control when I was in college. Now, we play for the same team, and every time he talks smack, I want to shut him up. With my mouth.

Walking away from my marriage was my idea of a fresh start. My kid is in college, my ex-wife and I are on good terms…but being single in my 40s is a world different to being single in my teens. I’m thankful for my best friend, Heath. He’s got my back like he always does and is ready to take me out and show me how the bachelor life is done. He was never supposed to show me literally. After we wake up in bed together, I can’t stop looking at him differently, and one thing becomes abundantly clear.

Story
The fall from NHL superstar to domestic disaster was swift and painful. When I became the legal guardian of my five younger siblings, I had no idea what I was doing. One year later, I'm still lost. Coaching CU's hockey team might be the only thing I'm excelling at. But when our star forward is failing math, I have to do what it takes to keep him on the team. Even if it's going head-to-head with Jasper Eckstein. One minute I'm confronting the notorious hockey-hating professor, and the next I'm agreeing to be his date to a twenty-year high school reunion. I don't know how that happened.

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game. I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids. My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all. He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known. We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens. That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

For the last three years, I've lived and breathed hockey with one goal: team captain. There's only one thing standing in my way. TJ Beckett. Beck is irresponsible and immature, and I've hated him since the moment we met freshman year. Yet the coaches see something in him I obviously can't, and they refuse to choose between us. The captain spot is going to a team vote. And the team thinks that what we need are a bunch of challenges to prove our worth.

"Look out for Zach, and don't hit on him." My brother's request sounds easy enough. Keep an eye out for his best friend on campus and keep my hands to myself. Easy. Even if Zach is a quintessential nerd, who I've always thought was cute, I don't have the time to think with my...stick. There's only one stick I should be focused on this year, and that's my hockey stick. My goal once I graduate is to get an NHL contract. The last thing I need is a distraction. On or off the ice. Only, keeping to the rules is harder than I thought it would be.

Military life is all I’ve known since I was born. But when a top-secret mission fails, I find myself suddenly discharged with nowhere to go. Mike Bravo saved my life, and they want me to join them, but there’s one small problem. Isaac “Iris” Griffin. He’s as irresistibly snarky as he always was, only there’s a big difference this time. I’m no longer closeted or scared to live my truth. And the truth is, I’ve always wanted him. It’s against Mike Bravo’s rules to fraternize with other team members. But something tells me Iris might be worth the insubordination.

Story
As social chair of Sigma Beta Psi, I’m the life of the party. It’s what I’m known for, and if it’s not fun, I’m not interested, simple as that. I’m not someone who overthinks. So, when one of my brothers hooks up with a dude from another frat house, it catches me off guard when I can’t stop thinking about them…together. There’s only one way for me to get this obsession out of my head, and that’s by jumping in with both feet and putting it into practice.
Publisher's Summary
Miller:
When Talon left to play pro ball six years ago, the hole in my chest confused me. I focused my heartache into making my own NFL dreams come true, and by the time I was drafted, the longing I had for my best friend was buried deep. Now, he wants everything to be like it was in college, but we can't have threesomes and be reckless like we once were. The media storm would be enough to break both our careers. That's not my biggest concern, though. The torch I had for him burns brighter after so long apart, and there's nothing I can do about it. Marcus Talon is straight. I need to stay away from him.
Talon:
Years ago, Miller and I made a pact that we'd win a Super Bowl together. When I'm offered a position on his team in Chicago, I don't hesitate. I move across the country to chase a dream that's a decade old. Only, now that I'm here, he's avoiding me every chance he gets. If he was anyone else, I'd cut my losses. But this is Shane Miller - the guy who makes everything better just by existing in my universe. The guy I'd do anything for. The guy who's more to me than a brother, a friend, or even a teammate. I'm not going to let him get away.

Great read!
Blindsided is book four in the Fake Boyfriends series
Pieces of their story have entered the previous books in the series. While still part of the series this book doesn’t hold the fake boyfriend trope.
Talon and Miller have been friends since college. After years of not playing together they’re back on the same team.
Miller has been harbouring feelings for 6 years for Talon and now they’re back in each other’s lives Miller is finding it difficult to push them down.
Talon is confused by Miller’s actions since they took home a couple of girls together.
Drunk Talon is both the cutest and annoying thing. He’s like an excited yet clumsy puppy.
Their story is so different from the others in the series and it’s so refreshing to have a different vibe. They have the that cute couple vibe while still maintaining the frat boy antics
Also Sharcus, worst ship name haha. But they’re so damn cute

Amazing
I love this book and have read it many times. I was actually scared to get the audio book in case it didn't measure up. It did take me a few chapters to warm up to the characters voices and I did prefer one over the other but once I relaxed into it I loved it. I know I will be listening to this book more than once too.

Very sexy without being over dirty, grimy or classless.
First of all I can’t believe that this author is a woman. How does she know so much about gay men love, sex and relationship issues. I think this is one of the most sexy and accurate portrayal’s of a gay athletes coming out story without the whole Super Bowl / Super Star Athlete’s part. I’m a gay athlete who fell in love with a childhood friend who was also my teammate. It really does hit home and we felt a lot of the same feelings and went through some of the same issues that were brought up in this book. If I’m being honest I would have been the Miller character in our relationship. I highly recommend this book just on its sexy ness and accurate portrayal of men in sports these days. Also the love and sex scenes are EXTREMELY HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Without being stereotypical or pornographic.

Fun Friends to Lovers
Miller and Talon certainly had a textbook friends to lovers romance that went a little off the hinges as each man came to the reality of what it would be to be together. Their unique takes on how their relationship played out is what made the story. I'm still loving this series and the narration was excellent.

Talon & Miller are two best friends who had time away from each other with real lives to realize they need to be in each other's lives. once in each other's lives again and threatened to be apart again they realize how much the other means what starts with long distance becomes more. they are the definition of soul mates two people that need each other to be better and have a blast doing it!

Talon and Miller
I really liked this one, I do love me a second chance romance! Although Talon and Miller were never really in a relationship together, they've always been closer than your average friends, at least the years they were in college together. While Miller has always known there was more to his feelings for Talon than friendship, it takes them finally being reunited after a few years apart for Talon to see what's always been right in front of him.
I enjoyed the journeys of self-discovery both these men went on through the course of the book. Talon, with his feelings for Miller and realizing, and accepting, it was more than just friendship; Miller, dealing with his injury and what it meant for his future, as well as these new found feelings between him and Talon.
I liked the easy relationship these two had, from being such close friends.
It's fun to think back on scenes with Talon and Miller in previous books in this series and realize now what was going on between them!
Iggy and Alexander were great once again! I've spaced out (not that kind of spaced out!) listening to this series so that I don't get characters mixed up- that can happen when the same narrators are used in a series that features different couples, but listening to books with different narrators in between helps!

Loved Talon & Miller
Gah!! I’ve loved every single book in this series, and Blindsided was just everything I’ve been waiting for with Talon and Miller. While I’ve read this twice, I somehow forgot to listen to the audio that’s been sitting in my library forever. I was jonesing for some Iggy Toma and strum led across this un-listened audio in my library. Both Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese have knocked it out of the park with their narration of this series to date. They did a fantastic job with bringing Talon and Miller to life for me, and if possible I loved them even more! I loved their pace of the story, the emotion they each brought, and the voices used for each. This book hit so many high points for me: closeted athletes, friends to lovers, football, and FTG. I loved seeing Talon come to the realization of his feelings for his best friend and teammate. I loved their sexting, and them getting to know each other on a different level. The support that they each provided each other through the tough times, and Talon’s unwavering support of Miller’s recovery was all the feels. The sexy times were A-MAZ-ING!!! All around their story had everything and I both wanted to hurry up and finish and never wanted it to end! Even knowing the story when I got around to listening, I was bummed and wasn’t ready to be done in Talon and Miller’s world! I couldn’t recommend this book (and series) more!

enjoyed it.
Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
I enjoyed Talon and Miller's story and it touched on (what I expect) are some genuine issues for gay athletes, but by the end of it, (I wasn't in the best head-space so) Miller's constant insecurities started to get on my nerves - this is my least favorite of the series.
Narration comment: Both narrators are terrific on their own and do a great job on their respective characters chapters, but in my opinion dual narration is unnecessary for a M/M book. Either narrator would have been an excellent choice for the entire book, both narrators are excellent voice actors, but I didn't like having 2 different voices for each character (it felt like there were 4 MC's instead of 2).

The reader has the perfect voice for the role. The exception being any female voice. They all sound like Marge Simpson. The story and the audio are both lively and entertaining.
