Publisher's Summary

In 1996 Robin Bowles read a newspaper report about the alleged suicide of Victorian country housewife Jennifer Tanner. Blind Justice is her search for the truth.

On 10th November 1984 Laurie Tanner comes home to his farmhouse in country Victoria and finds Jenny, his wife, dead, her hand wrapped around the barrel of a bolt-action rifle. Her death was viewed as suicide.

Deeply puzzled by the mass of anomalies in the case, Robin Bowles, a Melbourne company director, goes looking for answers. How, for instance, could Jenny have shot herself twice in the brain - after shooting both her hands first?

What unfolds is a true-life detective story, a bizarre tangle of police bungles, cover-ups and family intrigue.

Couldn’t turn it off!

I really enjoyed this book, detailed investigation, you could put the story together and picture it’s progress. I felt like we had the inside to Jenny’s world. Thank you for giving Jenny a voice.

I was interested in the actual case of this, but this book does not add anything useful.

The narration is terrible. Putting on over-the-top accents for the people, and the whole thing is read in a sing song voice. It sounds like it is being read to kids on Playschool. The story is very drawn out. Many chapters are repetitive to the previous chapter. Overall I couldn’t keep listening to it.
