Very deceptive ! It was not dual. Jo was performing 2% of the book. Also 90% suspense, murder mystery. 10% romance. Otherwise ok. You can guess the villain from start to finish

Worth a listen - good story but villain was easy to pick early on. Still really enjoyable and Maxine is so easy to listen to.

Loved the storyline, there was very little romance. More a very slow burn unfortunately cause you want more of course. There was definitely room to extend the story once a relationship bloomed over ending it when it started… has me wanting more and sad there isn’t more to the story. I enjoyed it but it was more a phycological thriller over a dark romance.
Poor Jo Arron hardly made an appearance but thank goodness Maxine Mitchell does such a good voice of the MMC when she narrates.
Great story though.
