As with all Damien Boyd's books, I had difficulty putting it down. But plus it mentioned Western australia, where I live. And i remember the blast.

Well developed characters with the main character involving you, the reader. Good story and well paced. The presenter does well with the show different voices.

A refreshing take on a police procedural.

Huge fan of Nick Dixon, so this seems a logical read. The first Willis book ended in straight up madness and a cascade of illogical decisions. The storyline of this one was genuinely gripping, and little clues were being picked up along the way. However the ending, once again, relies on the main characters fully abandoning logic and reason.

Cracking story, lukewarm ending.

Better than the first, but really fizzled out.
