About this listen

A bet turned into a nightmare.

She broke my heart.
Broke me.
Broke us.
Only one thing could mend the gaping wound she left behind.
Her.
Naomi.
All mine for the taking.
All mine for owning.
All mine.

Black Thorns is a dark new adult book that contains dubious situations some listeners might find offensive and/or triggering.

This is the last part of a duet and is not stand-alone.

It was a decent read, but not really my thing. Some of it was a bit too far fetched and felt a bit off.

Still, enjoyed the tension and spice - and gotta love Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. Just wish it was Duet!

Probably my least favourite Rina Kent series

This was a great ending. Love the secrets that are slowly revealed. When they meet again and she is married, I wondered how they were going to reunite. This author is amazing.
Narration was awesome.

I struggled a bit with Book 2 of this duet. I was keen to see where the story would go after the end of book 1, and was disappointed and a little confused.

I didn’t expect what happened and felt quite disconnected from the characters at that point. It was only when everything came to light towards the end of the book that I was once again enjoying the story.

Once again, there was spice and mystery in this book. Having the mystery solved, I will probably go back to re-read parts of book 1 with different eyes.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good dual style narration.

Book 2 was a struggle
