Publisher's Summary

One troop of beyond-Tier-1 operators gone completely off the reservation. One platoon of stalwart Army Rangers, pledged to protect them, but now pushed too far. A thousand tribes of enemy fighters who just want them all gone.

Black Squadron is a secret cadre within DEVGRU (a.k.a. SEAL Team Six), consisting of master sniper and recon experts who carry out sensitive and dangerous advance force operations (AFO) in the most lethal cesspools and ash-heaps around the war-torn globe. They are an elite within an elite (within an elite).

But now they are being deployed to the darkest heart of the last days of the blood-drenched Syrian civil war, where they are surrounded by thousands of Syrian regulars, dozens of head-hacking Islamist militias, the hardest of the hardcore ISIS and al-Qaeda remnants, fierce Kurdish Peshmerga freedom fighters, ruthless Iranian Qods Force agitators, as well as Putin’s hyper-lethal and utterly merciless pipehitters from Spetsnaz GRU.

They’ve also been saddled with a blocking force, a platoon of US Army Rangers from the 75th Ranger Regiment - a unit that has fought in every US engagement from the invasion of Sicily to Black Hawk Down. The Rangers are upright, loyal, and never leave their brothers behind. But now the Rangers may be the only ones who can stop a rogue Black Squadron from leaving everyone bleeding out in the street, and also kicking off a shooting war between two nuclear powers.

Black Hawk Down meets Training Day in this explosive collision of two legendary special-operations units battling to survive and prevail in the most dangerous city on the planet.

RC Bray & MSF are tier one operators

RC Bray & MSF are the tier one operators in this audiobook space. Awesome story. Not quite as over the top crazy as the Arisen series, but still very fast paced...

Well, this was disappointing

So, let me get this straight.....we have a current President who is clearly in Putin and XI's pocket but you go with "Orange Man Bad"? Ya ok. I used to enjoy your books but this is my last

ORANGE MAN BAD

So sad to see how easily and completely people are manipulated and controlled by a corrupt liberal media. This could of been a great book had it not gone with mainstream media propaganda and false narratives. i wonder if this writer will write a book about the actual president thats in putins pocket( definitely wont happen). literally the only redeeming part of this horrible story is Bray. i guess At least i can exchange to get my credit back.

Awesome

Great book all around...
My only complaint is the use of the term assault rifle that's a made up term and it shouldn't be in these types of books.

Awesome

Absolutely amazing. It has the same heart we loved from Arisen and tells a story just as complaining. Can’t wait to listen to it again.

Action packed SpecOps thrillride

Great work as always from the Fuchs/Bray dynamic duo sans the gratuitous bashing of an American administration.

What a book!!

Quite possibly the greatest book I have ever read! MSF is a God at building tension and delivering white knuckle action. Coupled with the iconic abilities of R.C Bray, who brings each and every character to life, this book is superb! Didn't want it to end yet couldn't wait to listen to it all!

Unrealistic

They make the Russians sound scary. We all know now that Russians are a 5th tier military power.

Another excellent Book from Michael and RC.

As a massive fan of the Arisen series (if you haven't listened to that you need to do that right now) this filled a gap left by that series.

Excellently read by RC Bray as usual, the pace of the story was bang on and the action kept on coming.

I hope we see another book in this series (I'll also gladly take another Arisen too if you reading this Michael)

Compelling characters and an interesting premise

RC Bray nails it as usual and Fuchs keeps the pace high throughout this gripping read.
While some plot points may stretch incredulity about as far as is possible it’s worth going with it for the fun of it.

Brilliant, the sign of any good book is that it flies by when listening and you don't want it to end. This definitely did that.

MSF - THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

Simply put Michael Stephen Fuchs is a genuis of the written form. Elevated on Audible by RC Bray to a god. This book, written as a screenplay is so simply awesome. If you have read or listened to it you need to have your brain looked at🔥
