It took me a beat to come to terms with Black and the style of the ‘detective’ stories. Once I did, I admit it was just downright enjoyable, even if not a particularly deep series. Listening to Black bumble his way through a series of investigations - where he never really finds out whodunnit until right at the end, and never really foils anything of note - is a downright fun experience… so long as you’re not expecting Sherlock Holmes!
I had a lot of fun, but would definitely consider this more of a comedy series, rather than a deep ‘detective’ series where you can really solve what’s going on. Good fun and fantastic performance!

I really enjoyed the story and characters, lots of light hearted banter, and R C Bray is one of my favourite narrators so I couldn't go wrong.
