I honestly don’t think i’ve had the pleasure of such a beautifully authored work in a long while; the language, the story, a dance of dark, light, of tension good and bad, the character’s growth that is so beautifully woven… i could not stop listening.
Love is both heartbreaking and brutal as it is the hopeful, warm and deeply romantic - this thread that keeps you hooked chapter into chapter as if tangled in thorns 🫶

I enjoyed this book. It read like the sapphic version of a lot of fairy tale re-tellings I have enjoyed. If you like authors like Naomi Novik you will enjoy.
