Einer Lind begyndte som gadebetjent på Nørrebro i 1959 og sluttede karrieren i 1995 som chefpolitiinspektør i Københavns Politi. I erindringsbogen "Bisser og bananer" ser han tilbage på sine 36 år i politiet og beskriver blandt andet livet som gadebetjent, opbygningen af politiets antiterrorkorps i 1970’erne, terrorangrebet 22. juli 1985, opgøret med BZ’erne og urolighederne på Nørrebro 18. maj 1993. Einer Lind (f. 1932) er tidligere chefpolitiinspektør ved Københavns Politi. Han voksede op på Nørrebro og blev først uddannet møbelsnedker. Senere kom han til politiet, hvor han var i 36 år. Han har skrevet bogen "Bisser og bananer" om sin lange og spændende karriere.
