This story could have been a better if not for the wife wanting almost constant reassurance and not contributing towards their survival and finding their daughter. Her husband did a brilliant job, he toughened up quickly and acted appropriately to save and protect his family the best he could. I’ve read other books by this author and loved them, this one not so much. What I did like about it was it showed how ordinary people might react in a terrible situation. A lot of fighting but a positive ending.
