Publisher's Summary

When it comes to American literature, Beyond Demon is the perfect American cocktail that begins with a western shoot out in the 1870s, then moves to the 1960s involving drug smuggling, murder, kidnapping, Mexican Federales, assassinations, and corrupt government officials.

Follow Vietnam veteran, Morgan Chapman, as he uses his skills as a Marine working for the FBI to smuggle drugs across the Mexican border, only to find out this will be one of the easier times in his life. Because when an otherwise innocent spring vacation to a Mexican resort town turns into a rape-murder bloodbath, the dominoes fall, fating Morgan to lose everything he holds dear in life, and sending him down a path of vengeance.

Using his guile, military training, endurance and a little bit of his blue-eyed charm, Morgan locates the individual responsible for ruining his life and sets out to methodically take him down, all while evading the corrupt local police and FBI. Every step of the way, there seems to be a damsel in distress or a temptress in wait, making his job all that much harder.

Morgan's two tours in Vietnam may have been hell, but it's a cake-walk compared to what awaits him in Demon, California.
