FC grated on nerves and had to stop half way. Teddy’s performance made it worth getting that far through.

Enjoyed the book but didn’t really enjoy the uselessness of the female character at times - she just seemed a little “help me”.
but otherwise the rest of the listen was great!

This had so much potential to be a good book but both Julia and Heather are such dramatic whiny little women throughout the WHOLE BOOK and it frustrated me to no end. Not to mention how this should have all ended when Julia's business bounced back but instead it was pushed out with a bunch of unnecessary rubbish AND THEN everything came out... plus a bunch of more rubbish.

The audiobook was good because of our boy Teddy but the thing who narrated Julia kept sounding like she was a 50 years old when imitating someone else when in fact they were mid 20's..

Do not recommend 🙄

Honestly I hate giving a bad review but this book was a struggle to get through. I feel so bad saying but it was just not it. Everything was so predictable and not in the comforting way. The time line was overly confusing. It was just not enjoyable. I found myself not wanting to listening. I almost didn’t finish it but just didn’t want to quit

I found this book to be a struggle to finish. I continually lost track of what was going on. It seemed that the ideas and events were very jumping and hard to keep track of. There was a lack of character identify I feel, and I didn't get attached to any of them to be interested in the book.

Wanted to like this but had to give up. I always like to start a series from the beginning, so tried it despite the low stars. Frustrating plot and unnecessary prose. Not a fan of these narrators either which didnt help. First time I've felt compelled to write a review!

This is such a feel-good book. I loved listening to this as an audiobook. It had great narration that definitely added a certain personality to the characters. The romance in this is very cute and while there are parts where you might feel your heart breaking, they don't last very long. This book wouldn't be my favourite though because there are a lot of things that are mentioned at the start and are never mentioned again. The actual start/middle part of the relationship is only briefly mentioned and not hugely elaborated on. This could have been better but it wasn't a bad book. It was still enjoyable to read and if you like reading feel-good romances, you might enjoy this but it is definitely not a book to try out the genre with. If you feel comfortable with this genre already though, feel free to give it a try. You might find you like it.

Felt was a great book but the audio book was crap instead of reading and beingmore engaged with the book the person reading kept skipping parts and mixing up the words which confuses me personally
