About this listen

From the New York Times and Sunday Times best-selling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new steamy STEMinist novella....

It will take the frosty terrain of the Arctic to show these rival scientists that their chemistry burns hot.

Mara, Sadie and Hannah are friends first, scientists always. Though their fields of study might take them to different corners of the world, they can all agree on this universal truth: when it comes to love and science, opposites attract and rivals make you burn....

Hannah's got a bad feeling about this. Not only has the NASA aerospace engineer found herself injured and stranded at a remote Arctic research station—but the one person willing to undertake the hazardous rescue mission is her longtime rival.

Ian has been many things to Hannah: the villain who tried to veto her expedition and ruin her career, the man who stars in her most deliciously lurid dreams...but he's never played the hero. So why is he risking everything to be here? And why does his presence seem just as dangerous to her heart as the coming snowstorm?

To listen to Mara and Sadie's stories, look for the novellas Under One Roof and Stuck with You.

I really enjoyed this book but it was too short. Would loved for the story to have been a bit longer, overall though I would recommend 😊

Was too short

honestly, I love all of Ali Hazelwood's stories. this was such a great story to listen to, the voice actor did an awesome job.

the story itself was also really good, sorta cute and fairly steamy.

loved it!!!

Idk why I like books about smart girls who are too dumb to realise when people are in love with them so much but this one delivered on the order nicely. My only complaints are that it could have done with more spice and maybe been a bit longer but I loved it!

Another one for the academics

bad, bad bad, she seems to repeat the sane story in every book just a different setting... shoot me now, won't be listening to anymore of her books... sorry...

bad, don't waste your time..

I have enjoyed several audiobooks by this author, particularly Love On The Brain. I really liked the setting in science/tech academia, and that the women characters are gutsy and funny and opinionated and smart. Unfortunately this story did not live up to my hopes. It seemed very abbreviated, storylines were not fleshed out much and suddenly it was ending. It also seemed incredibly implausible in parts. The sexy times were hot though and she writes emotions very believably.

Had potential but didn’t live up

Forced to do a review to star rate the story. Nothing to say about story.
