excellent story and the narration was the best I have heard in a long time. the characters are fascinating and the narrator really brings them to life. the twists in the story are subtle and this was a start to finish excellent piece of work.

Up to the minute contemporary spy thriller around a disease leak in China and the Uighurs situation, set in far-western China and Beijing and with an intriguing futuristic element in the nanobots. And a nicely understated romance between Nick Foley, ex SEAL damaged goods on a humanitarian mission and his partner in the investigation microbiologist Chen Dazhong.
No literary masterpiece, but a good storyline.
