The von Braun's 'surrender' was a staged event! A remarkable story of true events. 

Devastated by the death of my grandfather, Ron, I’m amazed to discover what I thought were the ravings of an unbalanced mind may actually be true. Discovering the FFI gave him the title Beau Bête ("Handsome Beast"), I set out to learn more about the wartime unit Ron was always so reticent to talk about. 

From the scribbled and sometimes manic memories of Ron’s and the very men that he served with, I decipher the incredible story of a Commando Sniper and the history of Ian ‘James Bond’ Fleming‘s top secret intelligence gathering unit - 30AU, a unit Fleming himself called his ‘Red Indians’. From my Nan’s treasured love letters her past is revealed, as member of the Maquis (French Resistance - FFI) helping downed Allied Airmen escape and the wealthy family who disowned her for loving a poor english soldier. Her brother’s struggle against the Nazi regime and untimely, suspicious death and Ron’s involvement in covert missions to capture Hitler’s scientists, ahead of the Russians and the Americans, including the real story of how the Nazi/NASA scientists actually ended up in the USA, working on their space/weapons rocket research programme. 

The famous 'Surrender' in Bavaria of the Nazi/NASA scientists, was staged, it has been cited as fact in all literature and film since the war, 76 years! But they just happened to 'surrender' to a translator accompanied by a film crew? This is the real story....
