Sweet, heart touching story!!!

Meg lost her husband... and then lost her baby.. and she is floundering. She decides to take a trip and see all of the places that she and Brandon talked about. Before she hits the Route 66 portion of her trip, she stops in Green Springs at a small motel.. there she meets Nana and Drew. Drew lost his love Ann’s his leg in the same accident in high school... he was destined for the NFL.. but the loss of his leg prevented that. He has been through a lot since then.. and finally has his life back on track. He hears Megs nightmare screams on her first night there and goes to check on her. This is a sweet, heart touching story of two people who have suffered tragedies and how they move on. Meg has a journey she needs to finish.. but when she leaves.. Drew is angry and hurt. What happens will make you laugh, and cause tears eyes too! It’s a wonderful story C.A. Miconi and J.B. Havens have written! Tyler Darby and Tara Langella have pleasant voices and do a good job with the characters! #TheFlock #PinkFlamingoProductions

Beautiful story

Meg and Drew are meant for each other. Both are broken souls that needed mending. Her for the loss of her husband. Drew is haunted by an accident that changed his life forever. Together they find love, but Meg needs closure. Drew doesn't know what that means for them. This is a heart wrenching love story with self doubts, heartbreak, soul searching and hope.
Tyler Darby and Tara Langella are terrific narrators. They really brought this small town story to life! Every emotion, every voice , every character was perfection! They flawlessly transitioned from one character to another.

Be Brave with Me

Getting past heartbreaking and life changing situations would be hard to do, but these two try their hardest to do just that. With the help of each other and the growing emotions between them, a happy ending is finally found. I really liked this book and love that I found new authors as well as new to me narrators to listen to in the future.

Masterful storytelling.

Meg and Drew take aim at emotions from the start. Be Brave With Me goes from heartbreaking to awe inspiring at a pace that left me breathless. Havens and Miconi find hope within the heartache. From ugly cry to happy tears, Be Brave with Me is masterful storytelling.

A Captivating & Heartfelt Story! Great Narration🎧

I thoroughly enjoyed this small town romance, it is well written and well told with interesting and original storylines that swept me in right from the start, grabbing both my attention and my heart. The characters are realistic and easy to connect with, the two leads, Meg and Drew, each broken in their own way, fighting ghosts and demons of their past. Drew lives in Green Springs, Mississippi a tragic life changing event sent him on a path of destruction, first losing his dreams then trying to fight his demons away. He is finally getting himself back on track, he has his own place in his Nana’s Motel, he helps her out with maintenance and repair, he also works at the local garage. Meg lost all she loved and has left all behind packing what she could fit in her Jeep Cherokee to live a life of a nomad life, traveling the country. She rolls in to Mississippi and stops at the Brewer’s Motel for the night. Nana puts her in a room right next to Drew’s, there first meeting isn’t the most pleasant but I think Nana’s move was a genius move. There was great chemistry between Meg and Drew, they are great together and for each other. I loved how everything plays out in this book, how they open up to each other, how she feels she must do and what he does to support her. This is a great story of Love, loss, healing, and learning to live and love again. Thank you CA Miconi and J.B. Havens for this great story and collaboration as well as the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Tyler Darby and Tara Langella are terrific narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. They did a great job portraying the characters, you could hear all their emotions projected into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Do you believe in life after love

Fresh from your own personal tragedies are you allowed to find love? Is it okay to move beyond your pain and live in the here and now? This audio does a great job exploring how hard it is to find a fulfilling life when it feels like a betrayal. There are really solid side characters that help guide the story. My favorite being the Inn owner/grandmother. The characters grow a lot and don’t worry it’s not all sad there are plenty of steamy moments and fun banter. The end is very fulfilling.

The narrators are great.

Really enjoyable listen

I found this to be a very sweet story, don't get me wrong it has a load of steam in it, the story itself is charming and lovely. I like the set up of both the main characters back stories and how they meet. I enjoyed watching them interact and how they worked things out. I did hold my breath at one point and it took me a while to let it out again! I think you'll guess which bit when you get to it. A gentle and enjoyable listen, brought to life by the narration of Tara Langella and Tyler Darby.

Heartbreak & Healing

This one will hit you where it hurts.

Both Meg and Drew are dealing with heartbreaking things that change their lives forever.

It’s a story about loss, grief, healing, and being able to love again. And I am here for it! I was able to connect with the characters and feel all their emotions.

CA Miconi & JB Havens did a great job writing it and now has a new fan!

Tyler & Tara did a great job narrating!

Second chance for happiness

I more than enjoyed this book. They have both suffered from the ultimate heartbreak of loss. They are able to understand each other and have an awesome connection. I love all the characters. Narration was great. His narration sounded like the equipment wasn’t as up to date but I loved both of their voices. I definitely recommend this book.

Beautiful

This is a wonderful storyline. When two people have suffered the ultimate loss can they mend each other’s hearts? This book is written so very well. Likeable characters and a heartfelt performance from both Tara and Tyler.

Great story about overcoming a painful past

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to read/listen to a book by this author and I really liked it. Great characters really drew me in- Meg and Drew are so sweet- they each had a difficult past and lots of losses but then they met and I loved watching them come together and find happiness. It was such a well done, sweet story and I'm happy to have had the opportunity to find this book.

I listened to the audiobook and I thought that both Tara Langella and Tyler Darby did a great job. I loved how they did a bit of acting like integrating laughter where appropriate, etc. They also did a good job playing multiple characters. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook.

Green Springs is the place to be!

New authors to me, CA Miconi an JB Havens have my heart. This first book in their Finding Love in Green Springs series has all the feels! Meg is on a journey. She has lost the love of her life, and as tragedy strikes her, she needs to find her new normal. Letting go is hard. Drew also has had his share of devastation. Once the popular football player, he now has acclimated to his new way of life. When he meets Meg, both find that wonderful feeling. But can they get past their baggage to find happiness? I absolutely love these characters. I found both to be very true to life. And Drew's grandmother is a hoot!! It's got all the emotional tugs that will make our heart hurt and soar. A great story and I will be watching for book 2!

The narration of Tyler Darby and Tara Langella could not have been cast better. These two found the essence of their characters and truly gave us their story. Their voices compliment each other. I enjoyed their narration and hope to see more from this team.

Quite good story

First of all I liked the overall story of the book and the characteristics of both the main characters. It was a strange concept for me to have the heroine's POV written in first person and the hero's POV in third person narrative. I'm not sure I have encountered such desing ever before. I took some time getting used to and I'm still not sure I liked it. I don't know what the authors' idea behind it was but for me it made Drew's POV more impersonal, like the limelight was focused on Meg, like he was just a secondary character in his own story. It was a bit underserved as though I found Drew's personality just as interesting as Meg's. I liked Meg's character. I liked her frankness even though she stood out as a sore thumb in Green Springs with her harsh and straightforward attitude. I liked her journey, the way she found and rebuilt herself again. Drew was her perfect match with his deep understanding of loss and quiet patience. I liked their chemistry. All in all a good story.

Tara Langella's narration was absolutely superb. She was spot on. I loved the voices she used and the occasional southern drawl. She acted out every laugh, every chuckle and sigh according to the manuscript and I loved it. The quality of her parts was absolutely perfect. Listening to her was pure enjoyment.
Though I liked the voice of Tyler Darby I had problems with his narration. His vocal performance wasn’t as good and his recording was also lacking in terms of quality especially compared to the spotlessness of Tara's parts. It felt like as it was at least 40 years difference qualitywise between the two recordings, it sounded like the narrator was speaking from a box. All the way through there was constant static and occasional background noises. Not just poor quality but fluctuating as well, as sometimes it suddenly changed for the better but after a few sentences it went back down again.
Perhaps these things shouldn’t have been worth mentioning but they were magnified by the significantly better recording quality and vocal performance of Tara Langella. This difference in quality between the two narrators' parts was rather disturbing.

Sweet and sexy read

Meg and Drew were so perfect, especially because they weren't perfect at all! They were flawed and broken and sad and it hit me in the gut.. HARD!

Meg has baggage and she is running away from all the bad emotions she is not wanting to face. She isn't ready to face her demons and accept life the way it is.

Drew is trying to make the best of his life, he is still struggling with his demons daily and he isn't always doing a good job of dealing with them but he is doing his best.. Then Meg shows up and rocks the figurative boat and all hell breaks loose.. things get muddy and rough, but there is something there. Can they make it work though? Is Meg willing to stay and cancel her dreams or will she leave him?

These two have such a sweet and sexy dynamic, it is refreshing when you learn their flaws, and even more so that neither seems to care about the others flaws, it's like they can see right past them. Neither of them are bothered by the others flaw and it is amazing to see. It's sweet when they both are shocked that the other sees past their flaws.

The narrators did a really great job with the emotions and love, but when Tyler Darby's parts came on it had a strange echo sound that kind of threw me off but it was still a wonderfully entertaining book. I just wish his voice would've been a little clearer.

finding love again

when you lose your everything you run. Meg takes off to find herself and complete a bucket list. she breaks down and is saved by Drew. the couple weeks she is there they connect. while forging a relationship with Drew, she fights her demons. she leaves to finish her list. I rather enjoyed this story. Both characters demons to get past. the narrators are new to me. I really enjoyed Tara's narration. she was spot on. Tyler wasn't bad. his narrations sounded like he was in a box. very hallow sounding. it was a distracting.
