Publisher's Summary

He was supposed to be my first and only one-night stand. He was definitely never supposed to become my boss.

I had always been the good girl - the workaholic with every second of her life mapped out to a tee. Then I got trapped in an elevator with Julian Hoult. He was...irresistible. Sophisticated sex in a crisp white shirt. His voice alone dropped me straight to my knees. What was I supposed to do?

Well...I can tell you what I was definitely not supposed to do. I was not supposed to run into him ever again. I was not supposed to be desperately unemployed, and I was definitely not supposed to accept his dirty little job offer. But I couldn't resist.

As CEO of the Hoult Media empire, Julian will stop at nothing to get what he wants. So for his next venture with Manhattan's most lecherous billionaires, he's hired me to play the role of bait. And while my official title is that of Executive Assistant, my actual job requires low tops, tight skirts, and flaunting everything I've got till his clients are easy to bend - till they can barely think for themselves anymore.

It's sleazy and wrong. Against everything I've worked for. But with Julian as my audience, I can't help but enjoy every second. Thanks to him, I'm embracing the bad, and I swear...I've never in my life felt this damned good.

Contains mature themes.

Mysongist Fantasy

From the start of the first meeting between new employee-a sexy young (plenty of descriptive references to this woman’s physical attributes) woman; there is an unfaltering assumption that a male boss may sexually harass a young woman and that she’ll throw herself into any degree of full-on sexual activity right there in the office. Apparently if the boss is a hunk, that behaviour is OK! I felt disgusted with the detailed sexual porn in this book and I’m not a prude-just disgusted at the message this sends out to young, vulnerable employees in any workplace. Disgusting and stupid!!

Beautiful!

Great story with wonderful characters and hot, sweet sex. Julian is a strong and sexy man and the boss - employee aspect with Sara is so sizzling and fun. The whole story is powerful and moving. The relationship between these two is so exciting, hot and emotional. Loved it so very much! Perfection!

Only 3 stars

There were parts of this story that I liked, but there were parts that made me cringe. Even if I ignore the whole premise of her job, the story falls flat towards the end. They go into detail explaining why he does what he does (towards the end) that causes their break up and the inevitable drama llama that is common in these books. However, how it was resolved was ignored and never explained. The concerns he had would still exist 5 weeks later. So, I call bull on all that.

Narrators did a good job though.

JULIAN & SARA (YUCK)!

Corporate pimp (Julian) meets perpetual victim (Sara). Julian is a b*****d. He knows it & he owns it. Sara on the other hand, bad things just happen to her -NOTHING is ever her fault .She blamed everybody starting with her father moving the family to Texas from England & defending an innocent man & winning. This supposedly resulted in the kids in high school basically torturing her (physically & mentally) & she did nothing to stop them even after they branded her with cigarettes (a 3 or 4 day process & no she wasn't held hostage, she just did nothing to make them stop). Then she goes to college & runs into the college madam & the sorority brothel. Fast forward to 27 years of age (when your brain should be fully developed & what has she become," A PROFESSIONAL SEDUCTRESS"?! I guess that's what you call it when your pimp is a corporate boss. While she never had sex with the targets, her job was to keep them happy & distract them. Sound familiar? Nope this was no romance. It was just short of criminal.

Sara and Julian

A sinfully seductive journey to go on with Sara and Julian. I enjoyed the banter, the sass, and of course the passion.
I enjoyed listening to the narrators, they truly brought these complicated and captivating characters to life.

another doormat heroine

This is my second story from this author. I didn't like that book and wanted to give another try from this author. The inner dialogue from the heroine made her strong and sassy but never follow through because she usually does what she's told from the hero. Soon after, she just a doormat. That said, I will not read/listen from this author because I don't like dumb/doormat heroine. if you are into this character, this one is for you!

Workplace romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a “sexy” one night stand, workplace romance. It’s a pretty easy listen but a bit too long. The male narrator was good. The female was... not so much.

The HEA was short and cute. This is a standalone novel but there is another book after this.

It was ok

I can't really say anything bad about the book, only I didn't like the almost ending. The airport was just like, ok? That's it?
