This is one of the best romance fiction novels I’ve ever been fortunate to come across. Some audiobooks are kinda monotone, or have a vibe of each character sounding the same as all the other characters. However, in this audiobook, I felt Bishop gave each character a different and unique voice, which helped make it more engaging. Loved it.

What an adventure this story is … this book began my journey back into reading queer books and is still one of my all time favourites … I absolutely love it !

Jae and written a beautiful romantic novel, thank you.
I love western novels and it is even better that the main characters are women.
Jae takes us on a journey that many families took to start a new life on the other side of the country.
Hayden Bishop’s telling of the tale was beautiful, she is easy to listen to and her use of different voices for each person was very enlightening.
Thank you both for writing and telling this wonderful tale. I have read a few times and listened to once. But will not stop there I will be reading and listening to it many more times.
