About this listen

This book is about faith and hope. The old-fashioned kind of faith we have almost forgotten. Benji Evans had only been married a few years when he began a long and dark path of illness. Most people would have given up but not Benji and his family. This journey is told through the eyes of Benji's wife, Davina his mother, sister as well as a great friend that is a doctor. Their community in rural Oklahoma prayed, helped, and refused to believe God would abandon Benji. You will see when the outlook was grim, God was there. Benji was on Death's Doorstep many times during his journey... But God!

Endorsement:

This is a wonderful true story of someone who is truly loved by so many. His fascinating journey navigating a difficult and life-threatening illness is a saga of faith, love, and devotion. He is paying back this love many times over through his work with the Oklahoma Blood Institute. His story will warm your heart.

—Ann McKennis, RN, CNOR(E), CORLN(E) The Woodlands, Texas.
