Glad I picked up this (audio) book. In hindsight, would have preferred it and followed it more easily in paper form, but still enjoyed it. Enough even that I might look for a paper/ebook version.
The weird linguistic portions of the story reminded me a bit of that movie "Arrival", which I also enjoyed.

Not always an easy listen but very enjoyable plot and reading - it reminded me of The Dosadi Experiment, with its ideas about better ways to think.

I read this many years ago and am very glad to revisit it. It's well read and chock full of interesting ideas. I forgive the plot holes and blind spots in the world building because the story is fascinating and thought provoking.
