Publisher's Summary

When it comes to a real friendship, Kayla, Evelyn, and Trina have one last opportunity to get it right. If only for a short period, they appear to be on the same path and willing to put their chaotic past behind them. Evelyn's near-death experience has everyone embracing her, even Kayla's ex-husband Cedric, who uses his wealth and power to get whatever his heart desires.

To help him settle scores with individuals he now considers his enemies, Cedric handpicks the person he believes is the weakest link of them all - but trusting Miss Evelyn could be the wrong move. She has a bad reputation when it comes to her loyalty to friends, and there is nothing that will stop her from biting the hands that continuously feed her.

Once again, Trina puts herself in a position to save them all, but when secrets unravel about the love of her life, she'll have to figure out more than one way to save herself.

The Finale

The finale was great and although Evelyn was a mess, she didn’t deserve any of what Cedric or even Charles did to her, because they too were as guilty as hell. They both cheated on their wives with her. She needed to be taught a lesson for being so trifling, I agree, but Cedric paid with his life and Charles is still living with power. I gave the narrator less stars because in reading the book she should have caught mistakes and corrected it, like Trina didn’t have Jacolby and Cedric didn’t shot himself. It’s like come on, use your better judgement and correct those manuscript errors, because as an author I know errors happen. Overall great serious and I’m def a fan!

Great story but...

I loved the story but the narrator was getting on my nerves. She sounded like she was congested and kept sniffing throughout the book.

mmmkay

This book series had a lot of potential, but some of this, was just plain ol' stupid. The readers were pretty bad. It was Chapter 2 of book one before the reader figured out how to pronounce JACOBY! Since I was listening to it instead of reading it, I can't be sure if the constant bad grammar should be blamed on the readers or the actual text. A lot of potential, but a lot of room for improvement. Definitely not boring tho...

Great Story

As the plot thickened, I realized with more and more certainty, that this was actually a very well - crafted story with unexpected twists and turns that left me wanting more!

ACTION PACKED & UNPREDICTABLE

I didn't want to stop it was great. Lots of unpredictable plots and twist. And a happy ending that I didn't see coming. The narration was also superb.

Lesson to learn

When I say Brenda Hampton did her thing with the BFFs series, she did. I couldn’t stop listening on audio, this story was amazing and to say Cedric and Evelyn got exactly what they deserved. Oh yes and Mr. Charles had all the power. Also this is a true story of friendship

Well..

I don't like how it ended. I need answers. What did Trina have boy? Girl? What's the name? What happened to Jakolby and his girl? Did Kayla find a ma? Is she happy? Ughh... And some...

Spoiler Alert!

I’m halfway through the 3rd book and I am so over everything being Evelyn’s fault! Typical story about how we can forgive the men in our lives but constantly place blame and disown our female friends. It is so ridiculous!

great story

listened to 3 books back to back. It was hard to get past the narration and concentrate on the story.
