Story
Recently jobless and homeless, now I’ve been kidnapped by aliens. I thought my day couldn’t get any worse, until the disgusting Orkun warlords who abducted me tell me I’m meant to be a “bride” for their commander. No! No freaking way. But before I can figure out a way off this spaceship, I find myself caught in the middle of an uprising by their other captives: a breathtakingly masculine gladiator race called Kalixians.

Story
Years ago, the skies ripped open and the world was destroyed in fire and ash. Dragons - once creatures of legend - are the enemy. Vicious and unpredictable, they rule the skies of the ruined cities, forcing humanity to huddle behind barricades for safety. Claudia's a survivor. She scrapes by as best as she can in a hard, dangerous world. When she runs afoul of the law, she's left as bait in dragon territory. Story
Taken to a high-tech space station designed to entice human women, LA socialite Mandy is anything but impressed. She’s not falling for their holographic fantasy suites, their promise of a dream wedding, or their gorgeous, brawny warriors. Especially not the arrogant, hot-shot commander she’s been matched with. He may be used to being obeyed, but no way is she following his orders. She could care less that he's huge and ripped and drop-dead gorgeous.

Story
These Kalixian warriors may have rescued me from depraved Orkun warlords who abducted me, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to obey their every command. I was a CEO back on Earth, and I don’t take orders from any man. Not even from Malav. Especially not from Malav. Never mind that he’s the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen — even with his horns and color-changing eyes. Never mind that his prowess in the gladiator ring makes my heart beat faster and my body ache. I refuse to let myself fall for an alien.

Story
My fated mate is a prince. Can I truly be his princess? After watching my friends find bliss with their gorgeous alien mates, I’ve secretly been hoping the same thing would happen to me. Still, when Prince Khrelan singles me out and invites me to stay in his palace so he can learn more about the human race, I’m terrified. He’s commanding, powerful, and insanely handsome - and he’s skeptical of the mate bond between Kalixians and humans. He wants to prove the bond isn’t real. It’s my job to convince him it is.

Some scary-looking aliens have just boarded Fortuna Tau, our little asteroid mining station. Kordolians, by the looks of things. What the hell do they want with this floating rust bucket? What are they even doing here? Come to think of it, I've never seen a Kordolian up close before. They're huge and intimidating, with strange silver skin and pointed ears. They have freaky nano-armor, and they're packing a serious arsenal. We humans stand no chance against them.

I've wanted Andrea since the moment I saw her. But she's human. I'm drakoni. Story
I’ve been swept off my feet before, and I’ve got the bruises to show just how badly that ended. I’m not about to fall at the feet of the next man - or alien - to cross my path. Especially not when he steals me away from home and wants to use me as his broodmare. Kloran is intense and sometimes scary. A prince of his people with a duty so deeply ingrained it’s hard to see where it ends and he begins. But the glimpses of the man beneath the hardened warrior prince make me wonder if there’s something more between us.

Somewhat boring, narration not great.
To be honest I only listened to first 2 books before I lost interest. Not the worst thing I've ever listened to but not that great either, boring and predictable. The Narrators are average to bad, especially the man on the first book, he reads it with all the emotion of a constipated robot. Honestly I wouldn't recommend unless you have a credit you want to use up and can't find anything else.

If books could be re-written
The concept for the story was really excellent and the individual sub plots were good with the twists and turns that tied them together. The problem was I couldn't get into the characters, there just wasn't the kind of development that made them believable to me. The romantic scenes were kind of staged and more contrived than real life, just not believable, something was missing. I just couldn't really get into the story I guess it was a soap opera when I was looking for a novel. I think it probably would be a good movie script. In a few years this could be re-written with much more character development and time dedicated to describing the details of the story and I would probably enjoy it. V/R JRM

A good way of delight
A compilation is a great way to hear this one, It's really interesting and Lisa is a master for romance and funny moments. Book 1 Auxem: I think all the books should be like this with lots of super hot story and great sex scenes they don't need to be a lot, but it was masterful how well it was balanced. the plot was super interesting I didn't wanted it to end, so cool, if you like angels or anything alike you should read/hear this one, it will not disappoint you. the romance was sweet and had problems like any relationship, the characters were so complex in their interactions on this one, they felt so alive, definitely a perfect book for your romance shelf. Book 2 Ayrie: I liekd the idea of two narrators, both were good I liked them a lot so the performance was good and emotional. the plot was good, it did follow the line the others did and I was glad that it did interconnect at some point very subtle with other pairings and places on the series that was fantastic. I was happy to see that integration on the series. Book 3 Anders: I was pretty amused, haa Anders is pretty clever alright I liked him, poor Gwen having to get all of that punishment in their relationship and she couldn't decide either why ? now this indecision was part of the enchantment of the book because they kept making mistakes so basic it was funny, now the piloting was so hot really. and I liked that this one too intertwined with other books on terramates series that was a super plus. Book 4 Allex: At the beginning of the stor, it was nice that thing are re explain just in case some detail anyone forgot and so deep as book 4 it's a good remainder. after that the plot began to tickens and oh wao poor Allex, I feel him so much being the baby of my family myself and yes I think it's hard too after being certain person for so long to be yourself after but it's not impossible. The king did a good change on this one for the better at last, I was beginning to think maybe Arnon should usurp the trone by this point jajaja. something I really like it's that she connects her books well and you don't get the feeling like i'm lost what is she talking about everything is well explained. Now just one of the brothers is left and I know it will be a delicious story just as this one. Book 5 Avren: I found Avren pretty funny, he was one of the more serious auxem in some things, but you could grasp the caring and loving person he was inside. Vannessa was a sassy one a little too afraid but who isn't after a lot of bad experiences in life. I liked the plot it was pretty interesting and a little suspensful at some point I was like OMG so cool all this and I loved that this one as the others auxem novels, have little cameos of other terramates novels that was fantastic. for the narrators I loved the girl, the male voice was I don't know, maybe too simple? but it didn't think it made the cut for this one I thin. now it wasn't bad just I didn't get the feeling I got with the other ones.

Auxem is hot, steamy, sexy alien fun
Auxem (Auxem #1) **** (Four Stars) I had a very hard time processing how to rate this book. I loved it but at the same time there were several discrepancies and unanswered questions that really bothered me. It starts off fast and dreamy with a lot of sexual tension. There are a ton of new characters, some new back story information, and a bunch of future potential for additional stories for the other characters! Jayne Lynch and Arnon are great characters. They have spark from the very first moment. They both value family, are intelligent, hard workers and put others before themselves. Their story may well be my favorite TerraMates love story so far. My only issue with the story is that there are a lot of contradictions, a few discrepancies that the author attempts to clear up but after you finish you realize they never really were and a few side story lines that you are left hanging on. Like I said before, this was a great love story so that earns stars but I really hope that Lisa finishes some of the side stories!!! Ayrie (Auxem #2) ***** (Five Stars) Ellie intrigued me in Auxem. She fought her way to school, she's survived against the odds, and she was accepted in to TerraMates even though she should not have been. She has had a rough life, bad relationship experiences, and she grew up poor so she is tough, tougher than even she realizes! It's her own bad luck that she went from having a marriage of convenience to falling in love with her husband! Dumb, dumb, dumb but true none the less, now what to do about it? Ayrie does all the right things for all the wrong reasons and what he wants is to never, ever love. He doesn't want fall in love, he doesn't want anyone to make it past his defenses and make him care and most of all he does not want to bond, no way! The problem is that Ellie is possibly reaching through his shields instead of trying to go around them and it is confusing the heck out of him! Why does he care what she says, thinks, or feels? All she is to him is a distraction, she distracts him to the point of insanity and its not just her super hot body, no she has brains, and heart and he is afraid to hurt her but he is more afraid to let her go. Anders (Auxem #3) ***** (Five Stars) In an attempt to avoid falling in love Anders is always attracted to woman who are unobtainable but what happens when his best friend, secret crush and partner is suddenly free of the marriage that has kept her from him?! Basically his world is flipped upside down and so was mine as a reader! I did not realize from the last book that Gwen and her husband were not from Auxem so imagine my surprise when Gwen finally broke the news to Anders that her marriage was over! I was shocked! I was also excited because we all knew that what Anders really wanted was a chance at Gwen but did her failed marriage mean she would not trust love again? Sure enough they are thrust in to the middle of a fight for their lives and everyone on the ship. The adventure that ensues leads them on a galactic game of hide, seek and conquer and the adrenaline rush pushes Gwen to cross binderies that Anders just cannot handle. Will they be able to save their fellow passengers and their hearts? Sit down, relax and follow their ultimate journey to find out! Alien Prince’s Mate (Auxem #4) ***** (Five Stars) It is crazy how something so amazing can come from some of your darkest moments and how chance encounters can forever change your world! When Priya is rejected from the program she thinks her life is over but it is really just the beginning! The first incident happens as she is leaving after her elimination from the program and bumps in to a sexy man. Then she is stopped by some low life’s who try to steal her money and her body. Trying to hide from her attackers she ends up on a transport. She thinks she will be able to come right back to Earth and no one will be the wiser but life has something else in mind. Pirates invade the ship while Allex is away from his family. They message him to get to the safe room ASAP but he is tired of always doing what he is told and wants to try and rescue his people. Unbeknownst him, Priya is stowed away on the ship, and a chance encounter involving a pipe brings together this unlikely pair. Being thrust in to such dire circumstance forms a bond that evolves quickly and both of their lives are changed forever. I do not feel like their story is over and I really hope to get more insight in the next book but I enjoyed their adventure and hope to see how it continues. Avren (Auxem #5) ***** (Five Stars) Throughout the Auxem Series I have had many questions and this latest installation finally answers them. Lisa went a different direction with Avren and Vanessa’s story. Of course there was sexy characters, adventure, excitement and steamy sex-not-sex (if you’ve read about the Auxem Men then you know what I mean, wow! Who could have thought that almost sex could be so HOT!) but she added a bit of mystery and intrigue that kept me guessing why. I loved how all my questions were answered, getting caught up on all my favorite characters from the series, knowing where it all led but I really loved Avren and Vanessa and all they had to overcome to get to their HEA.

Stories of all anglo earth females mated to aliens
Aliens males need females to breed with & save their dying race. Out of 7 continents all females(in the stories) mate to Hunky aliens (with secret wings) are anglo females from north american continent. Despite earth holding majority of ASIAN descant people. The planet earth has 60% people with Asian characteristic. Also ASIA is the largest land mass. All the stories (extremely well written) have anglo females with only varying the hair color & maybe different financial background. If you are a fan of Lisa Lace stories , you will not be disappointed. All stories( written by Lisa Lace) are about young 20 something MAYBE early 30 something anglo female needing to escape or be rescued by an older well off alien male.. There isn't any diversity within the main characters or even SUPPORTING characters (office workers, co-worker or recurring background characters of different skin color). The voice actors are great and the stories are cute. The stories ARE entertaining. So if you are a young anlgo female looking to enrich your fantasy of being rescued by a older rich alien.. This is definitely worth a credit: ALSO, If you don't mind being entertained by well written stories about a fantasy world that doesn't have any people of color or alternated body type or life style . Then this is definitely worth spending your disposable income of color on. In 2018 the average normal female(north american continent) is size 16 & doesn't have pale skin.. But most romantic stories have the same story structure while making majority of the worlds females invisible. Be healthy & be happy.

Annoying to listen too
I could not make it through the second chapter...the most annoying voices with no acting abilities. I am so sorry I wasted credits on this one. Story seemed a good one but not for an audible book.

Well Worth It!
This collection is very entertaining, I really enjoyed it! 5 brothers comes to Earth to find their mates because women ae extinct on their planet. The narration was really good and gave that extra flair to the story. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. It was great to get all their stories in this book. I have voluntarily left this review due to the narration of Logan McAllister.

A World without Women - Great Series
Book One - Auxem Auxem is the first story about a dying world, Arnon is the Crown Prince of Auxem and part of a team who come to earth to try and find wives/mates as all the women on Auxem are dead or are dying and there are only men left. They have been traveling through space to try to find females without the H4T7 gene and some women on earth are suitable Jane, whose mother runs TerraMates on earth is part of a group of women who volunteer to mate and match the men from Auxem. She and Arnon fall deeply in love and mate/marry. During the journey back to Auxem things go terribly wrong, Jane discovers a secret that could ruin everything for the men of Auxem. But unfortunately for them, they discover a mistake has been made in the screening of Jane and she carries the H4T7 gene. Book 2 - Ayrie Elle has entered into the program with Terramates because her life on earth is one she needs to escape from. Ayrie is one of the five princes of Auxem, he has no intention of ever taking a life mate or bonding with any female. But he is attracted to and likes Elle and wants to help her leave earth so they marry and enter the initial programme. She and Ayrie have married but Ayrie has no intention of every bonding with her so she knows that when she appears to be infertile she will be sent back to earth. Book 3 - Anders Anders is the typical middle child, he's never really been appreciated and he has never really taken the time to prove himself. His one achievement is that he is an excellent pilot. Unfortunately, he has managed to get himself banned from ever flying the best fighter ships because of a drunken mistake. Gwen is human and his co-pilot and Anders thinks she would be a perfect mate/wife for him and has loved her from afar for a long time. She has always been out of bounds because she is married to another human worker on the ship. The ship in question is carrying the "Human Brides" and the hope of the Auxem race back to Auxem. Also on the ship are Ander's four brothers and his father. His father is King of Auxem which makes Anders a Prince. In this book, Anders finds out that Gwen's husband has left her and she is now divorced. He thinks his attraction to her is not reciprocated and that he will have to be content being just her friend and partner at work. On the day he finds out that Gwen is a free woman their transport ship is captured by space pirates. Gwen and Anders are the only ones able to escape and try to get help. The Pirates intend to sell everything of value on the ship, especially the women, and will probably kill the men. Book 4 - Alien Prince's Mate This book is about Allex the youngest prince of the five. Because Allex is the youngest he has basically been brought up by his brothers, his mother having died when he was very young, in fact he has no memory of her. His father has basically ignored all his sons since the death of his wife and the relationship between Allex and his father the King is almost none existent the only thing Allex feels for his father is resentment. Allex is not part of the trial, he is a doctor and is basically brilliant but he is also, in my opinion, very childish in his resentment towards his father and the authority his older brothers have always had over him. On the way back to Auxem the ship is captured by space pirates. Most of his family have taken refuge in the safe room and are unable to communicate with the outside world or even other people on their ship. Allex has hidden in some secret passages on the ship because he thinks that he may be able to get help for the ship or sabotage what the pirates intend to do. In the passages, he meets Pryia, a human woman who is not part of the trial because she carries the dreaded H4T7 gene but in a desperate attempt to avoid being raped on earth by two men she hid in a space shuttle and ended up on the mothership as a stowaway. If she is found she will be put on a prison planet for the rest of her life so she is desperate. Book 5 - Avren Avren is the last of the five princes of Auxem to get his own story, he's sexy, brilliant and desirable. Some time ago he met and fell in love with Vanessa Dwyer a brilliant geneticist. They had their scientific interest in genetics in common as well as a very strong sexual attraction. Avren and Vanessa never actually made love because if they did they would become bonded until death but he did let her in on a secret relating to his race. Although they loved each he never asked her to become his because he felt she wanted a career more than she wanted to be with him. The result, they both ended up nursing broken hearts but have never forgotten each other. Now they have a second chance but will they take it? I was given this audio collection as a gift and this review is written voluntarily - it contains only my personal opinions.

Great story from the Terra mate series.
These books are probably my favorites in the Terra mate series. This about brothers from Auxem who come to Earth to find there mates because a virus has killed all the women from Auxem and there are certain women on Earth that can actually mate with them. The books are about brothers, Arnon, Avren, Ayrie, Anders and Allex. Each books is about a the brother and their special mate. I love each and every one of the brothers. I could see these books being a series of their own. The narrators did great job bringing the characters to life. I received this collection as a gift in exchange for an honest review. I recommend this series of books. They do not disappoint.

Has potential... might try to read the book
I listened to this story for an hour but had to stop. I couldn't get into the story, mainly because of the narrator. The first female narrator wasn't bad, but the first male narrator was. His narration felt like a computer voice... stale, robotic, unengaging. The premise of this story still seems interesting, I may try to read this story at a later time.

Narrators are not so good
I didn’t mind that the narrators changed, but a lot of them where very flat tones or when they changed their voices to a new character it was an annoying high pitched voice. I felt the voice acting could have been much better in general. There was one woman that did a good voice, I think it was in book two or three. I felt that the sex scenes were all pretty much the same, but that was okay. It bothered me that the author pretty much only used the f word to say have sex, make love, sleep together... etc. It made all the women come off very vulgar. I could see that when they are hot and bothered, but in normal conversation most women don’t just say “get f*ed” Overall, 5 books for one credit was a fair deal. I enjoyed it enough to listen to all of it. I hope the writer continues to grow because she has potential. The story line was good and creative. Most of the romances were a little quick to fall in love, but she finally learned how to build the anticipation towards the last one.
