It increased my desire for the river of delights

Such a fantastic read. This is not like an ordinary book or story, but an allegory, using a story to bring out the truths in God's word. Specifically, one of the main characters had walked away from God in the faith journey and this was how her friends encouraged her to return back to God again. It also shares the many real challenges all believers face in their walks with God. I loved looking for the deeper meaning of the story all the way through and where it relates to biblical truths - so exiting. It so encouraged my own faith as I read and prayed my way through the book.
