Absolutely loved this book and the series. I enjoyed the narrator so much that I got excited to start the next series, only to be really disappointed when I realised it had a different narrator. I didn’t even make it through the first chapter.

Joe Eyre does such a great job with the characters. Fitz feels introspective and thoughtful, Nighteyes sounds brilliant, and he does a masterful job making the Fool sound convincingly androgynous.

All in all, I loved it. I really hope he ends up narrating the entire series—I won’t be able to listen to the others until he does.

I screamed in chapter 20. Literally screamed! It was tough and felt hopeless for so long but something happens in chapter 20 that has made me want to read the other 100 books associated with this trilogy.
The ending was heartbreakingly beautiful. Cannot recommend this series enough!

it's been such a long time that I couldn't stop listening to a book. so much fantasy in the market but the writing is poor to average. this is outstanding

I couldn’t get enough of this story. Left guessing how it was going to end but couldn’t stop listening because I wanted to desperately get to the end to find out. Fitz has a piece of my soul after finishing the trilogy and can’t wait to read the Liveship Trilogy!
