Story
Is this Armageddon for the Artemis Fowl? Opal Koboi, power-crazed pixie, is plotting to exterminate mankind and become fairy queen. If she succeeds, the spirits of long-dead fairy warriors will rise from the earth, inhabit the nearest available bodies and wreak mass destruction. But what happens if those nearest bodies include crows, or deer, or badgers - or two curious little boys by the names of Myles and Beckett Fowl? Yes, it’s true. Criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl’s four-year-old brothers could be involved in destroying the human race.

Myles and Beckett Fowl are twins, but the two boys are wildly different. Beckett is blonde, messy and sulks whenever he has to wear clothes. Myles is impeccably neat, has an IQ of 170 and 3-D prints a fresh suit every day - just like his older brother, Artemis Fowl. A week after their 11th birthday the twins are left in the care of house security system NANNI for a single night. In that time, they befriend a troll on the run from a nefarious nobleman and an interrogating nun, both of whom need the magical creature for their own gain....

Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

Penguin presents, this downloadable, unabridged audiobook edition of the second title in this number one, bestselling spin-off series from Percy Jackson creator, Rick Riordan. This crazy messed up world of gods and monsters is Percy Jackson's reality, which pretty much sucks for him. Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, God of the Sea, has woken from a very deep sleep and come face to face with two snake-haired ladies who refuse to die. But they're the least of his problems.

Really good.
This book(Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex) is an amazing book and is one of my favourite from the entire series. The antagonist( Former L.E.P officer Turnbull Root) is a really cool character and is a good pirate-like person that kids(Age 9-11) will most likely enjoy his development into insanity. I also like the way that the two groups of “good guys” are separated (3 in Mexico, 3 in the Atlantic) and that they are struggling and provides a little more interesting descriptions. The brother sister team up is also a really neat thing. The performance by Gerry is AMAZING and I wish he did the last book(The last guardian). He is such a good voice actor and expresses the characters really well
Overall: REALLY GOOD AUDIOBOOK

A Great Fun Listen
As a long time fan of this book series, I find myself returning to them like a safe place every time I feel down. The prod on this was excellent and O'Brien is wonderful at giving all characters their own distinct voice, making the listening even more enjoyable. I really recommend starting this series if you want a light read full of humour and at times, emotional rollercoasters. Though it is a teen series I still enjoy it fully in my mid-20s, the themes of magic and technology blending together gives the world and my imagination a certain blue spark.
