An artist that can easily speak the language of other artists and understands the artist's thought patterns. Very valuable advice for anyone in art.

I enjoyed the book and I feel it provides a great starting point for people who have no clue what to expect from a creative professional life.
It’s was missing some out of the box ideas for active artists.

Good advice for beginners, on the basic side for others

Gives some practical advice if you're fresh out of high school in America. Otherwise, there is a lot of repetition that comes with extremely basic advice (including a whole chapter devoted to social media set-up and practice...). The business advice is totally geared to someone in America and the advice for artists outside of this is "check your government website". I switched off eventually and got to about half way through before I pulled the plug.

Only for USA noobs
