Seit 1980 arbeitet sie mit Schauspielern und Sängern auf den Gebieten Stimmbildung, Sprechtraining und künstlerisches Wort. Dieses Metier vertrat sie auch im Rahmen einer langjährigen Lehrtätigkeit am Staatsschauspiel Dresden, der Sächsischen Staatsoper und der Dresdner Hochschule für Musik. Seit 1993 ist Trübenbach Fernsehsprecherin beim MDR, bei ARD und ARTE.
