This book follows an amazing journey of a passionate young and upcoming soccer player on the rise. This story delves into the real hard work and essence of the main character Anna. not only do you follow her through her professional career, but author Texi Smith very creativity blends her personal life too, which brings everything together!
I also enjoyed the match reports that you are prompt to read during the world cup, which gives the story itself a whole other level again.
The beginning does sound a little robotic, but by chaper 7 it's fluent and much better.
all in all, it's a great book and would highly recommend, even if you arnt a crazy soccer fan like myself !
