About this listen
DI Tudor Manx was hoping for a quiet life. But his hopes are dashed when there's a gruesome find - a mutilated body, crucified to the bow of a fishing boat. Is this a message or a macabre premonition?
Manx's past still haunts him - the disappearance of his younger sister, Miriam: a cold case that remains unsolved. Can he work it all out before the body count rises?

i can't understand why this hasn't been promoted so it gets the audience it deserves. i see one of the few reviewers perceived it as "vicious" but that does seem subjective. It's not cosy crime but nor is it at the gory end of the spectrum. To me it is clearly a quality police procedural -- a cut above most in terms of the writing and general pace and interest of the story.
Please Audible, get this out there and record the rest! Good reader too!
Top notch -- more please!!!
