I enjoyed this novel immensely. I read and listened to it, which I would suggest, as it had some great images which the audio obviously cannot present.

What a great insight into the character of one of history's great.

I was drawn in by Meacham’s expert use of prose, bringing to Lincoln to life with a kind of objective humility unique to biography. Despite its length, I was surprised and not a little disappointed by how quickly the epilogue came around.
