Loved the storyline and the devilish main character. Was not a fan of the narrator though which kind of ruined the overall experience.

I loved everything about the book. Maud is clever, bad, just, modest, bold and moral. Her revenge schemes are enticing. I loved her internal conversation. I was worried for her safety, I hope she doesn’t die soon. The narration is first class.

I loved this series …great story. Could not help but love Maud . Lovely way to show how people estimate children and the elderly.

I really enjoyed this second book in the series and am so glad I came across this author. I'm hoping there will be a third book at some stage. The translation into English is excellent and I believe has completely captured the humour of the original. I'm going find other titles from the author and hope I'll enjoy them as much as this series, realising that the genre will be quite different.

I just love the main character (Maud), she's hilarious.
