Really enjoyed it.
Well plotted story of a small town intrigue and corruption therein. Narrator steady and minimal vocal-fry! I usually read English detectives, Vera, Rebus etc. There's grit and character in the main protagonists, and written to easily form mental pictures of people, places, and situations.

Unexpectedly good
Really enjoyed the main character and the way the story unraveled. I had somewhat predicted the “who dunnit” element but did not anticipate how the full story unraveled. Will look for more from this author.

Interesting main character and great twists and turns
Enjoyed this quick and easy listen.
Great characters and interesting story with twists.
Some short but gruesome descriptions that made me wince but overall recommend for a short snd stimulating story

What a great story
I absolutely loved the way the book went from the story to full cast and back and forth, a book I could not stop listening to. Can’t wait for the next book

Very Enjoyable.
Really enjoyed this. Engaging throughout and loved that it was from the point of view of the autistic protagonist, kept me intrigued right until the end. Audio wise it was very professionally done. Listened to it in one go.

Excellent narration!! Really really excellent narration.
A very good story too. An easy to like main character. Some good twists. Easy listening. Glad I gave it a go!
