Weder die wilden Gänse noch Reineke Fuchs hatten sich gedacht, dass sie einander jemals wieder begegnen sollten, wenn sie erst Schonen verlassen hatten. Aber nun traf es sich ja so, dass die wilden Gänse den Weg über Blekinge nehmen mussten, und dahin hatte sich Reineke Fuchs ebenfalls begeben. Anfangs hatte er sich in dem nördlichen Teil aufgehalten, und er hatte bisher weder die Schlossparke noch die Tiergärten voller Rehe und leckerer Rehkitzchen gesehen. Er war so missvergnügt wie nur möglich.
