About this listen

Tara

Lonnie Derringer is a filthy-mouthed, dirty-talking, long-distance fling. (That's been going on for two years.)

I know, I know. That's not a fling. This might be getting serious. I think about him all the time. I look forward to our quickie lunch dates and the way he whispers in my ear every night from 2,000 miles away. He's the best boyfriend I never had.

Until I find out his name isn't Lonnie, it's Alonzo.

Until I find out he's not some boring accountant with a dead-end job, he's a six-foot-four, yoked-out, tatted-up fisherman who never wears a shirt! That's right, girls. He's been catfishing me online for two...freaking...years!

And then he becomes more than just the best boyfriend I've never had. He becomes my target.

Alonzo

Tara Tanner is the perfect long-distance girlfriend who lives in the Land of Far, Far Away. She's a blonde, bookish bundle of sexy-overachiever. A wicked little siren with a filthy mind and an eye for pencil skirts. And every time I ask her to "send-me-a-pic-or-it-never-happened" she goes above and beyond.

She is, quite simply, the most perfect woman I've ever had the pleasure to never meet.

I didn't set out to lie to her and I didn't expect to meet her. But one day she shows up at my house, and guess what? She wasn't the only one being catfished for two years.

Because she's not who she said she was either.

Alonzo is the fourth book in the Bossy Brothers series, but this is a standalone book and you do not need to listen to all the books in the series to thoroughly enjoy Alonzo!

Includes a special bonus note from the author.

Alonzo can be heard as book five in the Bossy Brothers series or as a standalone story and features a sexy game of guess-who between a librarian obsessed with pencil skirts and a fisherman tatted up with mermaids. It's a long-distance fling filled with dirty-talking, sexy selfies, and safely hidden secrets...until it isn't. Until the day they meet and realize.... Love in the Land of fake Far, Far Away can't ever compare to the real thing.

I cannot love this series more. I’ve listened to the Creeping Beautiful series and a couple of Julie’s other stand alone books/series, and I was worried about listening to the rest of the interconnected series that relate to the company in “the right order”
The further I get into it, the more I realise it doesn’t matter, these books are written in a way that ties them into other series with little interconnections, yet you don’t need to know the full background to understand what’s going on or to have closure. The EOBS in this book just reiterated that for me.

Alonzo is my new book bf… I LOVE him! And this story was really lovely, and pretty well narrated too (female narration of male voices is often a let down for me, this one wasn’t the worst I’ve heard but not the best either)
Can’t wait for the next couple to complete this series!

JA Huss…. You’ve done it again
