Once again this next read in the knocknashee series was outstanding. I have loved this series by Jean Grainger who never disappoints. Whether it’s history information, descriptions of places or the nuances of different characters this author ticks all the boxes. The narrator was superb as always. I didn’t want it to end.

Jean Grainger does it again.. an intelligently researched and written adventure/tear-jerker. Could not stop reading. Characterisation and sub plots engrossing: demonstrates the power of altruism, empathy,love and concern for others. Teaches us to all show our best selves when we have the opportunity.

Many faceted tale; showing how constancy; steadfastness family and community values can prevail in extraordinarily scary times.
