I found the book very disappointing, not my usual type of choice, I picked it up on multiple rave reviews on a Facebook post that popped into my feed, and I wish I hadn’t bothered.

The one highlight was the exceptional narration!

Raw, cruel, captivating. This story makes you feel, you feel sorrow, heartache, hope, and ultimately shock. The story twists and turns enough to make you uneasy throughout the entirety. A feeling that doesn’t disintegrate as the story unfolds. Highly recommend listening to this story, the narration was brilliant.

Emotions and thoughts that have gone through my head during the reading include (in no particular order):
NO!, horror, amazement, shock, pity, vengeance, vindication, volatile, love, understanding, caring, shame and many others.

The story you hear (or read) moves you and then it quickly changes direction like being caught in an ocean rip and not being able to get back to the shore.

This young girl's life is bared open through the pages and at the end of the book you ..... well, you'll just have to read it won't you.

DEFINITELY WORTH READING/LISTENING TO. By the way the audio is EXCELLENT.
