Publisher's Summary

Motherly love can drive her to the absolute edge…

For nine years, Drew Baker has been running from her brutal husband and the dark deeds of the night she left him. Focused on protecting her ten-year-old son, Drew reluctantly settles into a small town, eager to find proof of her husband’s true nature so she can stop looking over her shoulder.

But Drew is also on the run from her own terrible crimes - ones that mean prison and separation from her son should the police catch up to her before her husband does. If only she could remember that night and what really transpired...

Without warning, the unthinkable happens, and Drew is plunged into the most nightmarish situation a woman and mother could imagine. Desperate to save her child, Drew takes matters into her own hands, proving that anyone is capable of darkness, and nowhere is safe for those who fear themselves.

Excellent dark psychological thriller...

This book is fantastically addicting. I got this book as a filler as I was in between books and this book is FREE to borrow with the kindle unlimited edition. If this wasn't free, it is certainly worth a credit. Once I started listening to it I couldn't put this down. I shushed my daughters when they tried to talk to me!! Seriously, I had to know how this "sleeping with the enemy " story turned out. If you like dark and twisted psychological thrillers then this is the book for you. This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. If you found this review helpful please indicate so. Thank You.

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!

I hardly ever write reviews, ESPECIALLY when I haven't even finished the book, but WOW WOW WOW!!! I'm a little over 1/2 way thru the book and it's so twisted and suspenseful. Psychosocial thriller is an understatement! This book is definitely worth the credit. Truth be told this is going to be that ONE book that moved to the top of my all time favorite books. I cannot express this enough- definitely give this book a read. I read/listen to roughly 25-30 books a month, I'm a disabled ex teacher with nothing but time, lol, and I always stick to the Mystery/Thriller genere. Typically psychological thrillers. This one has blown all the others I've read out of the water!!! **I bought this book and was not influenced in any way to write this. I say this bc sometimes, more often than not, I see reviews that include that the writer of the review was given an advanced copy or gifted the book in exchange for a review** Hope this review helps. 🤟💪 Corinne- Lakewood, CA Lupowar13@gmail.com

Great Start - Now Let's Have Part 2

This was a good book - believable story - and left open for a great part 2 with the son as the lead. Worth the credit and I wish there were more by the author on Audible.

great depiction of one's horrors in domestic abuse

I loved this book. the flow, the characters... how it was hard to put down (in my case hit pause, as I got the audible book version). the narrator was great. If I had more time I would write a million praises but just trust me..it is very good and the ending left me feeling fulfilled!

Fascinating psychology thriller that must be listened to!

‘All The Lovely Pieces’ Is a fantastic..to say the least... psychological thriller! I love this novel! Its the kind of psychology thriller that..and I can attest to this, WILL NOT put you to sleep! I listen to Audible every night, to relax, say goodnight to the day, etc. I lost so many hours of sleep! Basically ‘All The Lovely Pieces’ is a terrifying story of Drew and Adam. Drew is married to Adam, but he’s the type of ‘husband’ you do not want to be married to. The type of ‘guy’ who comes across as “WOW, what a gentleman”. Unfortunately Adam is one way towards friends and another towards his wife...and another woman. Let’s just say Adam is NOT just an ‘abusive’ individual, he has a LOT of ‘pieces missing from his mind’. He’s not just an intense serial abuser, he’s an extremely wealthy and very smart businessman, so his actions never come across to others. Adam is the guy who adores you, yet displays hints of his psychotic behavior. Drew did see these hints, yet didn’t rely on her own instincts either. When one gives a review, one doesn’t want to give anything away..I for one do not like spoilers. So let’s say the first night of their marriage Adams beats Drew. It doesn’t end there, nor does it end with Drew being an ‘abused’ wife and victim. Adam is a sociopath, who has a fetish about certain women, and basically impregnates Drew and keeps her imprisoned. He tells everyone who wants to see her, that she’s mentally ill, and if you question his motives..well let’s just say, you don’t ever question his motives. I can go on and tell you what Drew goes through, where Adams issues started and why they continued and the other characters who he also ‘abuses’ in other ways. Yet, if I do, you won’t lose sleep over this fabulous novel of an innocent woman and her vicious husband. You have to read/listen! ‘All the Lovely Pieces’ delivers what it is..a dark, psychology thriller and absolutely fascinating story. Definitely 5 star across the board!

Glued beginning to end!

I loved this twisted, dark, fast-paced psychological thriller with a "Gone Girl" feel. Hope this author writes more stories in this genre!!

Long, repetitive and boring

I really didn’t like this book I still have two hours to go and am so tempted to just stop and delete it. I already returned it though. Even a suspense or a psychological thriller should be thrilling through I am sure there is a surprise at the end of this book that may or may not worth my 8 hours but if I have to wait 8 hours for any thrill it’s not worth it.

too drawn out and repetitive

The story line was a little exaggerated but still could have made for a decent novel if it had not been so drawn out and repetitive. By chapter 30 I wanted to throw my phone away but i was more than halfway invested at that point
