Sheila O'Flanagan's No. 1 best seller, All For You is a wonderfully engaging listen not to be missed by fans of Lisa Jewell and Jane Green.

As TV's favourite weather forecaster, Lainey is good at making predictions. But what she doesn't foresee is that her own life is about to hit a stormy patch. With a string of failed relationships behind her, surely history isn't about to repeat itself with her beloved Ken?

To add fuel to the fire, her career-woman mother is returning to Dublin. Deanna has never approved of Lainey's decisions about men, and her mother's views are the last thing Lainey wants to hear now! Yet is there more to her mother than she knows? Uncovering some long-concealed family secrets, Lainey begins to reassess her life. Is the happy-ever-after she's always dreamed of really what she wants after all?

Bit of a slow burn

I had to push myself through this book. The story doesn't really take hold until about the half way mark. The characters are likeable and relatable enough... except Ken. And no intelligent reasonable woman doesn't recognise a booty call when it comes knocking (sigh), so it was a bit of a stretch that Lainey could think they were getting back together. And Deanna is too ignorantly single minded for someone who is supposedly university educated. Some nice little plot twists gently thrown in kept the story alive, but I found the ending a bit disappointing. Aoife McMahon's narration was spot on. She was the perfect choice for this story. I am usually a fan of Sheila O'Flanagan, but this one fell a bit flat for me.

Fantastic book

Great story about a complex and interesting family. Loved the character development and it did not disappoint with a predictable ending.

not one of her best

struggled with this one. The narrator who is usually one of my favourites didn't help by pronouncing the names of the characters differently all the way throughout the book. Plus I couldn't get on board with a hunk called Ken. Ending was too quick and it just left me disappointed.
