This is a real return to the classic early characters of the Logan series. Roberta is right back on form and the play between her and Logan drives a great part of the story. love this series!

Classic Logan

I enjoyed the storyline held my interest and is topical to Scotland and its most recent referendum on independence from Britain.
Rather more gruesome than some of his other books.
But the New Zealand accent is awful nothing like how we speak ! It was more Australian than anything . Could you not find a real kiwi !

Good storyline

Thought I’d like this as I love other Scottish detective novels but it was terrible!

The way the characters spoke to one another was so unbelievable that it ruined the whole book for me. If professional police really speak like this to one another I don’t want to know about it !!

I only listened to the end to find out how the storyline was resolved.

Sorry I ever started listening to this book - total waste of time.

Never again!
