Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Rachel Van Dyken....

She left.

Two words I can't really get out of my head.

She left us.

Three more words that make it that much worse.

Three being another word I can't seem to wrap my mind around.

Three kids under the age of six, and she left because she missed it. Because her dream had never been to have a family, no her dream had been to marry a rockstar and live the high life.

Moving my recording studio to Seaside Oregon seems like the best idea in the world right now, especially since Seaside Oregon has turned into the place for celebrities to stay and raise families in between touring and producing. It would be lucrative to make the move, but I'm doing it for my kids because they need normal, they deserve normal. And me? Well, I just need a break and help, that too. I need a sitter and fast. Someone who won't flip me off when I ask them to sign an Iron Clad NDA, someone who won't sell our pictures to the press, and most of all? Someone who looks absolutely nothing like my ex-wife.

He's tall.

That was my first instinct when I saw the notorious Trevor Wood, drummer for the rock band Adrenaline, in the local coffee shop. He ordered a tall black coffee which made me smirk, and five minutes later I somehow agreed to interview for a nanny position. I couldn't help it; the smaller one had gum stuck in her hair while the eldest was standing on his feet and asking where babies came from. He looked so pathetic, so damn sexy and pathetic that rather than be star-struck, I took pity. I knew though; I knew the minute I signed that NDA, the minute our fingers brushed and my body became insanely aware of how close he was - I was in dangerous territory, I just didn't know how dangerous until it was too late. Until I fell for the star and realized that no matter how high they are in the sky - they're still human and fall just as hard.

All Stars Fall

Not really sure how this is part of the Big Sky series, but I can see it being a perfect novella for just the Seaside series. I haven’t read any of the Seaside series by RVD but this book makes me want to. I am guessing we will get the bands HEA’s in that series. Trevor is really sweet and having a hard time with his kids which he loves to pieces. And then her, the woman who is totally sweet and everything he didn’t know he needed. I loved it. It wasn’t too deep, we had our series moments but it was a great little HEA. I really enjoyed the narration, both narrators brought something to the characters and I loved that.

ALL THE STARS!

All Stars Falls by Rachel Van Dyken was the perfect novella and addition to Kristen Proby’s Crossover Series. Rachel has penned a seriously sexy story of a famous rockstar falling for the nanny. When Penelope moves to Seaside, Oregon from Cunningham Falls, Montana she never expects to meet a famous sexy rocker. Nevermind one that she used to have posters pinned up on her wall of as a teenager! Trevor meets Penelope in a small cafe she is working in and after a bad string of babysitters he can’t count on and convinces her to become the nanny for his 3 children. Trevor tries to stay away from Penelope until he cannot resist her any longer and then they fall hard and fast. He writes a song about falling for her and I bawled! This was so, so good! I am going back to listen to the rest of this series ASAP! 5 STARS

lovely,easy listen

Very easy, fun afternoon listen. No big drama, for change heroin wasn't super annoying, can be listened as standalone without listening whole series.

All the Stars

This story is a stand-alone and you do not need to read others in the series as I had only read one book and followed along perfectly. This was all kinds of sexy and sweet and such a beautiful romance. For a novella it was packed with lots of story with emotion and fluffy goodness. I loved the slow burn and easy banter. I loved the adorable kids and the sweet romance. It just had everything you want in a romance. The narrators were perfect for the characters and just added that extra layer to the story giving characters depth.

All Stars Fall

A cute, sweet, and endearing journey to go on with Penelope and Trevor. Peter Coleman and Brittany Pressley are both new to me narrators, I enjoyed listen to both of them. Wonderful narration!

Not really Big Sky-only mentioned a few times

This novella is set in Seaside, Oregon and is about Trevor, a divorced drummer with 3 young children, abandoned by their mother, and the kind hearted part time nanny, barista Penelope or Penny. Lots of buildup with attraction and kids and dad with issues. Ok story and narrating but a bit slow. It is fine as an Escape Package offering but not worth a credit.

Sweet

I am new to the Seaside Picture group (but have read the original Seaside books). I really enjoyed Trevor and Penelope— a single dad who is also a rockstar and a woman trying to start over. I do wish I would have gotten more of why Penelope wanted to start over (since I have not read the Big Sky books) but it is a novella. It was a sweet story and I liked that they were older than the original Seaside group (which is more young adults). I also enjoyed everyone from the Seaside and Seaside pictures books made an appearance. Definitely a fun novella and makes me want to go back and read the Seaside Picture books.

not bad

I just wish when they had two narrators that they would do it as a story not third person. you kind of sort of start to get invested and then all the sudden you'll hear Penny said where she said still worth a listen now
