AMANDA: Who is this?

The daughter of small-town social climbers, Amanda Kelly is deeply invested in her boyfriend, real estate heir Carter Shaw. He's kind, ambitious, the town golden boy - but he's far from perfect. Because behind Amanda's back, Carter is also dating Rosalie.

PRIVATE NUMBER: I'm watching you, sweetheart.

ROSALIE: Who IS this?

Rosalie Bell is fighting to remain true to herself and her girlfriend - while concealing her identity from her Christian fundamentalist parents. After years spent in and out of conversion "therapy", her own safety is her top priority. But maintaining a fake straight relationship is killing her from the inside.

When an anonymous texter ropes Amanda and Rosalie into a bid to take Carter down, the girls become collateral damage - and unlikely allies in a fight to unmask their stalker before Private uproots their lives.

The ending was terrible

I should have known at the beginning that the story would be unreasonable. What parents of highschoolers plan for their children to be married one day to climb a social ladder? In addition to that the villain in the end was not logical in the least. You cannot have a character who is fine for an entire book and then make him crazy in the last chapter without good cause.

I liked it but...

I truly enjoyed this book, but there was one scene in, if i remember correctly in chapter 22, where it got more details than I think was necessary between the sexual counter between Rosalie and her girlfriend. They are 17 years old in this book and I though i understand that it happens in high school relationships i don’t think it was necessary to hear the details, it’s easy enough to
imagine without them.
Other than that i really enjoyed the story. I watch Pretty Little Liars growing up and it was similar to a point but different enough where i didn’t feel like i was hearing the same story over again.
I liked how it took place in one a few weeks and how it was told in both perspectives!
Give it a shot! :)

On the Edge of My Seat

I didn’t know I needed YA thriller as a genre in my life until Kit Frick came into my life.

A good listen

I enjoyed the story. The readers were really good and kept me entertained. I like hearing 2 different people reading for the main characters.

Two teenage girls involved in different relationships with the same teenage boy.

When I first started listening to this book I thought I would just delete it. But as time went on I realized how involved I became in the lives of these two young girls. Amanda who appeared to have it all. Money, friends, nice house and a rich boyfriend. And Rosalie, who was poor, her parents belonged to a very strict church that had too many rules.

The end will enlighten you on the importance of acceptance of LBGT

There is a twist!

I usually don't listen to YA novels, this one is enjoyable! The twist was really nice.

Nice Twists

There were enough twists to keep it interesting but I felt it was a little long in the beginning. I'm glad I stuck with it

The beginning was slow but it tired out to be a good read. This covered an important subject.
