Publisher's Summary

Here it is in its entirety. You have 12 books and well over one million words of zombie goodness.

The dead walk!

Welcome to the world of T. W. Brown's DEAD saga. This raw, violent, and brutal world isn't populated with military supermen and women, or preppers that have been waiting for the human extinction event to arrive. This is a world of normal people...some good, some bad...and some pure evil.

This is a global look at the end of the world. Follow Steve and his group as you see the apocalypse unfold through a single person's eyes. With the geeks, you meet four young men who thought a zombie apocalypse would be cool...and quickly discover that it really isn't.

In the vignettes, you will get short glimpses of the state the world has fallen into. Some will only be a single offering. Others might stick around for a while, but rest assured...nobody is safe.

Welcome to T. W. Brown's DEAD world.

all 12 books at once. zombie overload.

great narration. interesting characters. I like the diff take on zombies. but so many different storylines meant a quick ending, felt like I needed to know more details after 142hours of getting to know them

book needs to be proof listened too

from chapter 115 the story skips back and forth for no reason and you miss a lot of the story.

edit. the last three books in the series keep skipping back to the first books randomly in the middle of a chapter and you miss 90% of the story.

worth buying

can be frustrating at times as the writer isn't afraid of killing off main characters and some parts didn't need deep description (rape of teenage girls) we get that people are F@#ked when they don't have to take responsibility for themselves .
overall I did like the books.
like I said worth the price....12 books for the price of one.

time consuming, in a good way.

this book got me through covid lockdown. sometimes found it to be a bit repetitive around the middle of the series, but all in all a good listen.

It's a marathon not a sprint... in a good way!

I picked this simply for the fact I would take a while to get through the whole series.
what surprised me was that I grew attached to the characters and wear hanging out for the times I could listen uninterrupted each night to see what would happen next.
I'm actually really sad it's over because they felt like old friends.
I was disappointed in book 12 though as I really felt like the series got cut short in that one.
Now to figure out what to do with the rest of my life >.<

Marathon Series

I love this series, I have previously read all the books through my kindle and thought why not give the Audible version a go when its at such a good price. This series is great (apart from certain characters) so definitely give it a go.
Only downside is some of the chapters seem to be mixed up and the story cuts out half way through and starts on an already listened to story line.

loved it

A great zombie apocalypse series. Definitely worth a read/listen. Was pretty sucky to kill off some of the main characters, but that's the reality of a zombie apocalypse lol!

I don't know how sertain ppl died or parts in the story are missing . like the Egyptian part and the labs story's you never here what happens there is no ending for this section of the story. all in all it was a good cheap listen so thank you

Amazing book but tough to read

It’s a solid series, a really interesting take on the zompoc genre. Definitely worth the 140+ hours of time, although the author punishes his characters so badly he makes George RR Martin look like dr Seuss

Performance was amazing, despite there being so many characters the narrator was able to give each one they’re own voice and personality

Trigger warning; Lots of tough scenes to read, a lot of sadism and sexual violence especially in the first half (stops happening somewhere around the 7th or 8th book but there’s a lot of it til then). If you are sensitive to that I recommend skipping all scenes involving the characters of Garrett and Kirsten, They are full of extreme cruelty and add nothing to the overall story. They’re usually at the beginning of the vignettes chapters (every third chapter) and last 10 mins or so.
