The story ‘about the movie and cast’ started well but then got bogged down in speculation and conjecture about an understory that frankly I think is a load of rubbish. Having watched the movie dozens of times, the conjecture just felt like wishful thinking and straw grabbing. I didn’t bother listening to the last few chapters, I honestly got bored.

Snappy start, superbly read, became distracted by itself and this introspection became a little less interesting. I sped up the last few chapters just to get through - I usually don’t do that out of respect for the research and author, but it became gossipy and I just couldn’t maintain my focus - perhaps says more about my attention span than the book!
